As soon as I found out about Sarah Palin being Jon McCain's VP pick, I was excited and quite surprised.  For years, we have seen politician after politician, conduct themselves like every other we have ever seen.  Since my first election that I could vote in, I've had this thought " America will never and could never, elect someone who is honest, normal and mainsteam.  Honest people would just look suspicious."  Now, here comes Gov. Palin.  All the lefties can bring up is personal attacks like the new one about her daughter.  I would never had voted for Obama, but I was completely impressed with his response.  He said among other things that he would fire anyone in his campaign that started such talk about the other ticket.  This was his first comment that made me happy.  I watched his speach at the convention last week from begining to end.  Ever time he said he's going to fund this and fund that I cringed  Sarah actually gave $1200 back to Alaskcans after renegociating that oil deal.  Wha do you think Obama would have done with this extra money?
